Opposite the Café, yet another Anina eye-catcher rounds off the newly resurrected place. “Bib Shop” is a new version of the boutique her late mother Ulrike created in Ios in the early 70’s. Anina, who has a César nomination for best costume design under her belt, did not only inherit Ulrike’s remarkable fashion talent, but also her patterns and her stock of handwoven cotton fabric dyed in various colors. “I realized her designs were timeless and decided to revive them.

Just like in her mother’s days, some of the clothes hang from ropes in the middle of the shop, but Anina chose to only give the white garments center stage to make them look like an

art installation.
